carpmaster That's a nice snapper right there! I bet you used some kind of live bait like shiners or something? I've caught my fair share of huge snappers like that which were all caught using shiners. My cousin actually caught a snapper that was atleast 30 pounds using a live frog while he was trying to catch this lunker larry that we know about. Instead the snapper went after it. After releasing the snapper the frog was completely mangles as the snapper ripped the enitre back end off of it. My cousin then threw the remainder of the frog back to the same spot to try to land the Largemouth and sure enough he did..... The Bass was about 6 1/2 pounds and my cousin was in total shock because he never believed me when I told him that it was hiding out there! Good job man!
