Whitehall Reservoir
First day out for 2015. Tested out all the gear I bought over this long winter. Caught one Largemouth Bass on a Bass Pro Shops Bluegill lure in about 5 feet of water. Bite was very lite, line started going sideways.
This is the first time I have ever been here, but it seems like the water levels are low. Maps say the water here is 5 feet along the shore and 10 feet deep towards the center of the lake. I crossed the Northern section of the lake and never found water deeper than 6 feet. That seems low right after a huge snow melt like we just experienced.
Good to be back on the water.
