Comment: Went for a few days. It is an awesome river. I might say that the penobscot is better but the top portion of the kennebec (the east outlet or the west outlet) has great landlocked salmon fishing. And indian pond below moosehead where the forks converge is the best kept secret in new england small mouth bass fishing. Yup i said it and i believe it.

Comment: looks like a nice trip...how long did you go for? I havent been up to maine in several years and have only tried the penobscot but would love to try the kennebec
