Spy Pond 5-23-09
Late afternoon on Spy Pond, Arlington. My 5th trip here since I bought my kayak a month ago. Slow afternoon until things started picking up after 5:30 before culminating in the landing of a monster of a largemouth (measured at approximately 22", unknown weight, very healthy, enormous girth) on a Senko. Largest fish I have ever caught from a kayak. Possibly the largest largemouth bass I have ever caught. Thought I was stuck on weeds or a log and started pulling the kayak over before he made one of 4 serious runs. Spy pond is quite a bass hole...
