Well would you look at that. We have an honest angler,. lol
Ok. I have a concussion, so I won't go today, but next time I go I will take a picture
Please take a photo
there are pickerel, and you will be able to catch them in a few years when they grow larger. i think some one took chain pick fry and put them in here. As for the snakeheads, i am positive, i saw tthem with my own two eyes. There northern snakehead and they have mated here. i saw two snakeheads guarding thosands of little fish, (Which i assume are snakeheads). we catch a lot of catfish and bass here. i really hope this spot doesn't get ruined by these snakeheads.
there arent any snakeheads i dont think because i swim in here to go to a good catfish spot i have and i never saw and caught a snakehead also i wouldnt have legs right now if there are
Jason,
If you go back to here to fish, please take a photo of the fish with your cell phone camera and post it.
I'm curious to see what a snakehead looks like or even a pickerel. Good luck!
Jason, are you sure u saw chain pickerels? this place have been reported for tons of Northern Snakeheads, an invasive species
went today and caught a lot of sunnys and creek chub. We also catch a lot of channel cats. today though, we saw 3 chain pickerel which we have never seen before here. overall, a great place to fish
Not a bad spot, keep your line in the channel and use a 1-2 oz sinker. Worms kill it here, bloods and earthworms and I keep hearing chicken livers as well. Catfish, bass, perch and stripers the right time of year.
Northern Snakeheads confirmed by state officials and many fishing reports/forums.
